Practical, role focused, individually tailored communication training can help you reach your full potential. I specialise in helping clients improve their presentation, public speaking, pitching and networking skills.
It is possible to transform the way you communicate in a short amount of time. Sessions are not full of theory but instead aim to maximise individual practice and use content relevant to your role. This approach makes it easier for you to transfer your newly improved skills into your day to day conversations, with key take aways to serve you as a constant reminder to keep you confident, clear and concise.
I’ve worked across all title levels, cultures and industries. These industries include investment banking, law, accounting, asset management, insurance, FMCG, construction, logistics, media, retail and luxury brands.
I’ve worked within large corporations like Lehman Brothers and Credit Suisse for eight years and have seen how complex communication in the workplace can be. Typical reasons people ask for help are when they need to be more concise to drill down technical information, influence and impress their seniors, communicate well internationally and create messages that move others to action. Too often people shy away from speaking if the conversation is difficult, requested last minute or they need to speak to a large group.
Women’s development is a major interest of mine. I believe that female focused communication skills training is one of the main ways we can reduce the confidence gap and try to create a level playing field in the corporate world. Time and again I see the same mistakes being made which are not connected to seniority, industry or culture and they are often so simple to change.
I hold an honours degree in Business Studies and live in London having previously lived abroad in Australia, Brunei and Hong Kong for the last eight years. Whilst in Hong Kong I was the communication coach for The Women’s Foundation. I am also a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner.
